Beauty: When Beauty Bargains become Beauty Must-Haves

Over the last couple of months I haven’t been able to splash out on my favourite beauty products due to switching jobs, moving house and not actually landing a permanent job till a few weeks ago.

I used this opportunity (Always making a positive out of a negative – Yeah, I’m one of those people) to try some brands that I would usually just walk past and not even take notice of.

After running out of mascara and gel eyeliner I was in desperate need of more and whilst browsing for cheaper alternatives than my usual brands my attention was brought to ‘Seventeen’ at Boots, one of the brands that I would usually walk past. Well, I have to say, I will not be walking past this stall again – In fact I think I have found my favourite mascara ever!

The mascara (Seventeen Falsifeye HD Mascara) looks amazing on my lashes. It makes them look fuller, longer and there was not a single clump to be seen. I applied two layers and needed no more as my eyelashes looked like they could of been fake (No word of a lie). I would say this is a great budget mascara as it is only £6.99 and I would say it is just as good as Benefit ‘They’re Real’!

The second item I bought was the gel eyeliner (Seventeen Smoulder Gel Eyeliner) and I was super impressed with this product. At a tiny price of only £3.99, the eyeliner glided on beautifully and lasts all day and night. I recently wore it on a night out and got lots of complements! At only £3.99 you certainly can’t go wrong with this gel eyeliner and I would say it is a good beauty bargain if you don’t want to spend a lot of money on a higher end gel eyeliner like MAC – honestly this stuff is just as good if not better!

So these are my two beauty bargains that have very quickly become permanent features on my beauty must-have list!

Do you have any beauty bargains that you swear by?
