I first started using Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation around this time last year and completely fell in love with the product. (See my first post about theEstée Lauder Double Wear Foundation here).
Unfortunately due to the cost of the product I had to stop using it as I couldn’t afford it and used cheaper, high-street brands instead. I was really upset about doing this as the high-street brands didn’t cover my Psoriasis as well as Estée Lauder Double Wear had and as my psoriasis began to get worse, I started feeling less confident about my face make-up and felt like people were constantly looking at my psoriasis (Looking back they most likely weren’t and I was just worrying).
I am happy to report that after moving back home I have been able to re-buy the Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation I once loved and have fallen head-over-heels completely in love with the product all over again – I can’t believe I ever stopped using it to be honest! Not only does it give amazing coverage, but also it lasts all day and night (If, like me, you love a good night out).
I also love the fact that is a perfect match to my pale skin! I find it so difficult finding a colour of foundation to complement and match my skin tone – I’m not just talking with high-street brands, some up-market brands don’t do foundations pale enough for my skin tone.
So, once again, instead of going out and worrying about people looking at my skin imperfections I can go out and show off my seemingly perfect skin with no doubts that it is going to fade during the day or night. Now, in my opinion, that is what I call the perfect foundation you can rely on.
I’ve tried a sample of this foundation and although the colour was wrong for me I really like how it felt when it was on my skin and how well it stayed! I barely I had to touch my t-zone with powder, so I can understand why you went back to it!
