I am very careful with what I put on my skin due to my spot prone skin and psoriasis. I usually only put certain skin products on my face as I am scared my psoriasis will break out again if I put a product on my face that could cause a bad reaction.
I had heard a lot of great reviews about Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and decided that since my psoriasis had cleared up, maybe it was time to try high street products on my skin again.
Well I have to say I was extremely impressed with these products. The Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water takes off every single little ounce of make up from my face and leaves it feeling really smooth and fresh. What is great about this product is I can use it all over my face including my eyes, meaning that I only have to reach for one product when removing my make up. It really makes the process easier and less time consuming – especially on those nights when you really cant be bothered.
Another thing I love about the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is that it is hypoallergenic as well as dermatologically and ophthalmologically tested meaning I had no worries when applying it to my problem prone skin. The product leaves my face feeling smooth and doesn’t irritate my skin or eyes like many eye make up removers and cleansers do.
I use Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water in the morning, before I apply primer, to refresh my skin and at night to remove all my make-up.
Another product which I picked up, along with the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, was Garnier Softening Toner. As I have really dry skin the fact that this toner is made for dry skin as well as being suitable for sensitive skin it really was a no brainer that I would try this product at the same time. I have to say the product really does live up to the ‘Goodbye Dry’ tagline on the label. So much so that I do not feel the need to smother my face in moisturisers once my toner is on to allow my skin to feel relaxed and not tight.
I would definitely recommend these products to anyone who is looking for skincare on a budget. With the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water only £3.99 and the Garnier Softening Toner only £3.15 what isn’t there to love?
