So recently I left my job as a waitress in the wonderful little bistro cafe, One Cove Road, in my hometown of Gourock to embark on a new and exciting adventure as Marketing and Communications Manager for a technical start up company called Network90.
Network90 is a free, private members’ networking site for the Professional Sports Industry founded by Luís Figo and Luke Donald. Yup, that’s right, I am working for a sports company. Most people are surprised to know that as well as having a love for fashion, I also love sports and when this exciting opportunity came along I really couldn’t say no.
The Network90 offices are located in the beautiful Whisky Bond in Glasgow. It is right beside the canal and, as the name suggests, it is an old whisky bond from 1957 which was turned into stunning offices in 2012. The offices are really cool and still have many of the original features like cask shafts, floors and walls (Some of the corridor and stairwell walls still contain graffiti from when it was disused).
So know that I will only be working 5 days per week I am hoping to spend my weekends blogging and socialising. The best part of not working weekends is I am able to attend blogger events and will be heading to #ScotBlogMeet in August and I’m off to London in September for #BloggersFestival. I can not wait to meet lots of bloggers and hopefully make lots of new friends!
