Lifestyle | London Day1 – Brixton

Last weekend I finally took some time of work (for the first time this year) and headed down to London for a much needed relaxing weekend of eating, drinking and shopping.

After arriving on the Thursday night I headed to Brixton on Friday for a day of exploring and a wonderful Champagne afternoon tea at Champagne + Fromage in Brixton Market.

The Afternoon tea was amazing and the cheese was just WOW. Like honestly, I have never had cheese that good ever. If you ever get the chance to go and try out Champagne + Fromage I would highly recommend.

If you are ever in London I would seriously recommend you add it to your ‘Must See’ list.IMG_4705 IMG_4706After eating an abundance of cheese, we had a wee walk around Brixton. Brixton is lovely! The Pop Brixton is probably one of the coolest places I have ever been. The whole area is like a little village made entirely of shops, cafes and bars built in old shipping containers. The place is amazing and a great place to explore!

I think my favourite thing about Oskar’s Bar (besides the cocktails) was the vintage business class aeroplane chairs which we sat in – So comfy!

After drinks it was off to the cutest Thai restaurant called Thai Metro. I had the best Tofu Green Curry which was so good I didn’t even get a photo of it! The restaurant is a must visit but also does takeaway food if you are in the London!

After all the walking, drinking and eating it was back off to the train to prepare for London Day 2 and #BloggersFestival.
