2016. Yup, that’s right. 2015 is almost over and 2016 is upon us with lots of new and wonderful adventures to come.
2015 was a great year for me. My life did a complete 360. I went from no job, completely skint and not in a great place to two jobs which I absolutely love and being in a great place both in life and financially!
There is so much I want to achieve in 2016 and I thought I would share with you my bucket/resolution list for the year!
Travel to new and wonderful Countries
With a trip to Amsterdam already booked for early March and a discussion about going to Vienna in October, the number of holidays I am taking in 2016 compared to 2015 is already going a lot better. I want to plan and save for a big trip in 2017, I’m not sure where or for how long yet but all I know is that I have itchy feet and I am desperate to see the world outside of the UK.
Get Fit!
This is the year I want to get fit. I think that being active and healthy is important. Now, don’t be expecting a six pack of any sort but I would like to get back into Yoga and Pilates as well as climb up the massive hill to work without feeling breathless!
Work Hard
This year I worked my butt off and jumped from internship to internship before I finally got offered a permanent three day position with one of the companies and hopefully will be getting offered two days permanent at the other organisation. I LOVE my job which I definitely think makes getting up every day that little bit easier. I will continue to work hard as I proved to myself this year that hard work most definitely pays off!
Shop Less, Save More
Say it with me now, I will only buy investment items that I need, I will only buy investment items that I need. I have so much I want to do this year such as traveling and getting my own little flat! It’s time to start saving up for grown up things and that means spending less of items I don’t really need i.e. I don’t need to buy a new top for every occasion or a new pair of shoes just because I fancy it. It’s time to buy things when I need them and when I do need new items, spend a little more on them to get really good high quality items – no more Primark!
So that’s my list for 2016! What’s yours?
All the best for 2016 Jude and I hope you had a lovely Christmas too! <3
