I am a massive fan of candles. I love the smell of them and they are packaged so beautifully these days. When the Isle of Skye Candle Company got in touch to see if I fancied trying one of their Scottish Range Candles I jumped at the chance.
Not only are the Isle of Skye Candle Company a fantastic Scottish Company, their products are made in the beautiful highlands of Scotland, they are also soya candles that are strictly organic or non-GMO (These are much better for your health). The Scottish Range is inspired by the natural scents from the Isle of Skye Candle Company’s own front doorstep, the Scottish Range really encapsulates the four seasons on Skye.
The Isle of Skye Candle Company hand make every single candle from start to finish, therefore you can be sure of the best quality product! The soya wax used in their candles is grown rather than extracted from oil, meaning there is no harm done to the environment as once the soya has been harvested more can simply be grown.
I choose the Heather and Wild Berries candle* from the Scottish Range Candles as I love the smell of heather! The heather & wild berries fragrance is a subtle mix of flowering Scottish heather complimented by carefully selected sweet oils. It’s the mix of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries that give it a distinctly warm feeling and smells absolutely amazing!
The Isle of Skye Candle Company really pull from the Scottish heritage and make some of the best smelling candles I have ever smelt (maybe I’m a little biased being Scottish). I would recommend the Isle of Skye Candle Company to anyone who is looking for a soya based candle company with amazing scents!
You can purchase an Isle of Skye Candle from one of their four Scottish stores or online here.
