As you may have noticed if you follow my on Instagram, last week I was in the beautiful NYC. I had an absolutely amazing time. I ate lots of food, soaked up the culture and enjoyed a rooftop bar or two.
Upon my return, I thought I would share with you my favourite places across the city to have brunch, because well, who doesn’t love brunch?
Caffe Reggio, West Village
Caffe Reggio is the oldest shop in the West Village and has been trading since 1927! Legend has it that the owner of this cafe introduced Americans to cappuccinos! The cafe has a very old school Italian feel to it and is the perfect place to start your day before exploring Downtown Manhattan.
Juliette, Williamsburg
Okay, so this one I didn’t have brunch in, I had dinner. However, Juliette is such a cute bistro that I would seriously recommend anyone going here for breakfast/lunch/dinner/drinks because, look at that interior! So beautiful, incredibly affordable and near lots of transport links, what more could you want?
The Butcher’s Daughter, West Village
The Butcher’s Daughter is an amazing plant-based cafe. Their menu changes daily with all of their food being 100% vegetarian and dairy-free, plus most items on the menu are vegan and gluten-free. This place was just what I needed after a few days of overindulging!
Rabbithole, Williamsburg
The Rabbithole is a cute restaurant in Williamsburg that offers an amazing brunch and strong coffee to go alongside it. This place is packed from around 11:30am so if you want to get some brunch or food here then get their early or prepare to wait! They also have the most adorable courtyard in the back if you are lucky enough to be able to grab a seat there! We went at 11:20am and got the last table available. I must admit, the food is so good, I would have happily waited if need be!
Where would you recommend to go for brunch?
