A few months ago, MGC Derma got in touch to ask if I would like to review some of their products.
I was so excited by this email, I had longingly looked at MGC Derma products but they had always been slightly out of my price range. To be given this opportunity was incredible. I decided to add the products to my daily skincare routine for four months before writing this review in order to benefit fully from the products.
The three products that I was sent to try was the MGC Derma CBD & Hyaluronic Cleansing Milk, the MGC Derma CBD & Hyaluronic Facial PH Balance Toner and the MGC Derma CBD Herbal Replenish Cream.
CBD & Hyaluronic Cleansing Milk
The CBD & Hyaluronic Cleansing Milk gently removes oil, dirt and makeup and left my skin feeling soft, smooth and hydrated. As the cleansing milk enriched with high-purity Cannabidiol (CBD) which helps the skin to appear firmer and refreshed. I added this product to my morning routine as I loved how it made my skin feel so fresh in the morning. I felt it was light enough to use first thing but still allowed my skin to breathe.
CBD & Hyaluronic Facial PH Balance Toner
The CBD & Hyaluronic Facial PH Balance Toner is probably my favourite product out of the three sent to me. The toner helps to restore the skin to the optimal pH level allowing the hyaluronic acid to effectively moisturise and tone the skin. I have to say that my skin has never felt more hydrated after using a product. I loved how it made my skin feel fresh, hydrated and ready take on the day! You only need a small amount of this product as a little really does go a long way and after application, I left it for a few minutes to allow it to fully absorb into my skin. I would recommend using this product morning and night to help hydrate the skin. Honestly, the best toner I have ever used!
CBD Herbal Replenish Cream
The final product was the CBD Herbal Replenish Cream. You are instructed to start using the cream in your morning and evening routine for two weeks and then just using it in either your morning or evening routine. This product was incredible and worked so well after using the toner. It glided onto the skin leaving a light, matte shine meaning in the mornings I didn’t want to put any makeup on top! Due to this, after the two weeks of morning and evenings where up, I added this product to my morning routine as I just loved how my skin looked and felt after using the product.
Psoriasis and the products
So how did the products affect my psoriasis and acne? The MGC Derma range didn’t cause any irritation to my psoriasis and didn’t cause an acne flare-up. In fact, I actually found the products helped hydrate my skin and reduce redness that can come with both conditions.
Would I recommend?
Absolutely. Yes, the products are high-end and pricey in comparison to other products out there. However, the cost is worth it. The products are insanely good and have now become staples in my skincare routine. Plus, I have been using them for three months and still have loads of product left – you honestly don’t need to use a lot to get great results! I will definitely be re-stocking when my products run out!
